A Week's Worth

I promise I haven't been hiding!  Sometimes, though, life happens!  ("Life" like when your 4 month old suddenly decides she doesn't want to sleep at night and gets up every 45 minutes to start with, then every 15 minutes for 2 hours.  All at night.  All night long. Yes.  It was as bad as it sounds.  It's a good thing she's so stinkin' cute!)

(Like I said...good thing she's cute!)

So, this is what we were up to last week!

Hadley got a paper cut from a book we were reading!  It wasn't deep or anything, but wouldn't stop bleeding on all our stuff (probably because she slobbered all over it!).  So I put a band-aid on it!  I had to document her first band-aid!  Of course a few minutes later, the band-aid was missing and she had a funny look on her face.  She was trying to eat the band-aid.  Mom of the year award right here.

Hadley had her 4 month check up!  She loves to ham it up for herself in the mirror.  So far, David has been able to get away from work for most of her check-ups and we love it!  He gets to be involved and then we go get pizza for lunch!

Unfortunately, she had to get 4 vaccines the day of her check-up and they caught up with her!  She slept the entire afternoon on me.  It was the only place she would sleep.  She never got a fever, but just seemed out of sorts, so she got her first dose of tylenol.  She was back to herself in no time!

And she learned a new trick!  Thumb-sucking hasn't quite taken place of her love for her paci, but she is just so proud of herself for this.  And Daddy is not a fan, haha!  I think every time she puts her thumb in her mouth, dollar signs flash in front of his eyes! (That thumb-sucking won't be so cute when we are paying for braces!)

She has also recently started learning how to bounce in her Little Einstein's bouncer!  It is probably one of the cutest things on this earth.  Again, she's so proud of herself!  I know I'm biased, but I just can't get enough of this angel!  That face is enough to melt even the hardest of hearts!

And finally, this girl was so exhausted last night that she fell asleep sitting up.  Bless it!  And of course she slept through the night when I had to work!  Stinker. :)  Now I'm off to try to get her to nap so I can catch up on all the sleep I've lost since she started her ban on night time!

  4. She is such a cutie!! It's always worse, I think, when they start sleeping at night and then stop. Hope you caught a few "zz's" while she did.
